Geographical Constraints

John Gray & Son are based in Northern Ireland. Most of our business comes from the Northern Ireland marketplace However at John Gray & Son we believe in offering a complete service to our customers and have sent squads of men to England, Scotland and Wales to expand our geographical constraints.

Although the bulk of our work is carried out for the Public Sector, John Gray and Son still offer their services to the Private Sector.

In 1983 we were awarded the N.I.E. Pilot Scheme that saw John Gray and Son as the first contractor commissioned by N.I.E. to undertake external tree cutting services. This was the beginning of a close working relationship with N.I.E. and at the time of writing John Gray and Son are the only company in Northern Ireland authorised by N.I.E. to manage timber close to transmission lines up to 275,000 volts.

Technology

The introduction of labour saving machinery that can aid the environment is now prevalent in the marketplace.
